Glo Data Plan: Things To Know
Glo Data Balance
There are several ways to check your Glo data balance. You can dial *555# and navigate to Check Data Balance. You should be able to see your current data balance and other data balances that is if you have subscribed to more than one data plan or you have received data bonuses from Glo.
You can also check your data balance through the following means.
- Dial *127#
- Text STATUS to 127.
- Visit the self-care portal, http://hsi.glo.com/HSISelfCarePortal,
- Visit the Selfcare App, Glo Café
Glo Data Sharing
Glo allows you to share your data with your family and friends. To share data on Glo, you will have to first purchase a data plan. Once you’ve subscribed, dial *555#. Navigate to the Buy Data Plan option, then select Manage Data Plan and choose Share Data Plan. You will be prompted to enter the Glo number of the person you want to share data with. When done, click confirm.
You can also share data by dialing *127*00*Glo Number of receiver#
Glo Data Gifting
Glo also allows you to gift someone a data plan but that person must also be a Glo user (i.e. the person must have Glo number). To gift someone data, dial *555# and choose the Gift Data option. You will be prompted to enter the Glo number of the person you want to share data with. When done, click confirm.
You can also gift data by dialing *127*Data Plan Code*Glo Number of receiver #.
Data Rollover
If you’re unable to use up all your data during the validity period, Glo rolls over the data plans so you that you continue browsing even after the validity period has elapsed. You will able to use the remnant of your expired data plan during the 7-day grace period. This feature is available on all Glo data plans except its unlimited data plans.
Auto-Renewal
When you subscribe to a data plan on Glo, it automatically renews your exhausted or expired data plan (only if you have enough airtime). You can unsubscribe from auto-renewal by sending “Cancel” to 127 before your data plan expires or before you run out of data.
Data Settings
To get automatic internet settings, send “ACTIVATE” to 4777.
