All that is required of you is follow the registration instructions to the letter and you will be done in less than no time.
The step by step process is stated below:
- Find out the closest IELTS test center to your location in Ghana. There are 1,100 registered IELTS test centers scattered across 140 countries worldwide. There is a chance you will have one not too far from your location.
- Complete the registration form. You can either fill the registration form online after paying the application fee. You can also choose to download the form, print it out, fill it and submit it to a local IELTS center closest to you. Choosing the second option requires you to attach your identification documents for verification purposes. This ID will also be required on the day of your exam as proof of your legitimacy.
- Ensure that your test date is booked. This is the final step of the enrollment process. It is important to find out if your registration is complete and your test date has been booked. You should get a confirmation message in your email. Usually, the speaking and writing aspects of the tests are fixed for the same dates, else they will be seven days apart. It is imperative that you find out the date for your exams as it will help you prepare better.
IELTS fees in Ghana
The test is usually taken at a fee. For 2020, the cost of taking an IELTS test in Ghana is GHS 1296. There might be a few extra charges because of the tutorial classes you need to attend to prepare you for the test. The registration for the test in Ghana is under the auspices of the British Council in Ghana.
IELTS test dates in Ghana
The test dates are fixed by the British Council on a first come first serve basis. It is recommended that applicants register for the test five weeks before their desired test dates. In some cases, there may be free slots later than the period chosen. You, however, need to keep checking online to be sure of the dates.
