Predominant channel type for television stations in Ghana

 Most TV channels transmitted in Ghana are on VHF. Only a few are broadcasting on UHF channels. Meanwhile, the trend in TV broadcasts is drifting towards the use of more UHF channels because among other reasons, they are readily available and reliable.

However, the twist and advancements in technology make inventions easier to adopt. This makes most of the TV stations in Ghana make productive efforts in the switch to the UHF mode of broadcasting.

History of the existence of TV station groupings in Ghana

Also, out of the 128 licensed TV stations in Ghana, 76 stations are broadcasted on air.
