Every year, the Takoradi Technical University releases its school fees schedule for all students including Ghanaian and Foreign students that are enrolled in its academic programmes
The Takoradi Technical University School Fees Schedule includes the total amount payable by the student for a certain academic programme during the academic year. It also entails the procedure the student will have to take when making payments.
About Takoradi Technical University
Although Takoradi Technical University was established in 1954, it wasn’t until 2016 that it gained its technical university status which was a result of the government policy to convert Takoradi Polytechnic into a Technical University.
The Technical University was first established as a Government Technical Institute under the Ghana Education Service of the Ministry of Education. At the time, it only offered programmes mainly at the Craft and Technical Certificate levels in technical and commercial subjects.
The institute was later converted to a polytechnic after the enactment of the Polytechnic Act 321 (PNDC law 1993). As a polytechnic, it began offering Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes. In 2016, Takoradi Polytechnic was one of the few polytechnics upgraded to full-fledged technical universities, thus, it became known as the Takoradi Technical University.
Currently, the university offers several academic programmes in the following faculties:
- Faculty of Engineering
- Faculty of Applied Sciences
- Faculty of Business Studies
- Faculty of Applied Arts and Technology
- Faculty of Built and Natural Environment

Takoradi Technical University School Fees Schedule
Below, you will find the updated school fees schedule for all students enrolled in the academic programmes offered by the Takoradi Technical University. Students are to only make payment to the bank accounts provided by the university and should ensure that their details reflect in their payments.
A receipt (which will serve as proof of payment) will be handed to the student after payment. Ensure that the receipt are stored safely as it would be requested of you by the university authorities.
